At just 69g, the Extreme Light 69 Power is super light with excellent shock-absorbing tech and is stiffer than the Extreme Light 75. Both rackets were restrung with Yonex BG 95, so my review is based on that. While the build quality is solid, as someone used to the punchy feel of the 75, this one doesn’t quite deliver enough power for smashes. It’s more suited for defensive play. As an intermediate aggressive player, I found myself having to generate more power for lifts, clears, and smashes. For defense, it does the job well, but the shock absorption makes it feel like you’re not hitting the birdie with enough feedback, which also impacts the drops.
It's only 70 g after strung and grip. Applied 26lb exbolt 68. Stiff feeling and compact frame make power passthrough rapidly. Also the light weight makes driving it as fast as I expected.
This bat is light weight. I was having elbow pain and I started to use light weight bat which eased my pain.
Loved the performance of racket, very light weight and good for smashes. Overall service of badmintontrendz was smooth and I got the badminton the same day I ordered.
One of the best rackets to use as it has versatility in doubles for front court speed and backcourt slice shots. It can smash and clear as I'd have more time to prepare a good stroke though i'd usually pair this racket with a stronger/slower partner who often has recovery time to account for after they hit a smash. I have this and a Delta 10 in my bag to alternate as i enjoy the extremes of either head light and head heavy depending on the circumstance.; that is a must try as well.
